| HOT WOK Main Entrance |
Beautifully anachronistic nestled in a row of unprepossessing shophouses, HOT WOK revives the wonders of the Peranakan era of the 1900s both its deco and cuisine. Marble topped tables and burnished wooden chairs are some of the authentic antiques adorning the cosily cluttered interior of the two shoplots. HOT WOK boasts of a cosy warm ambience of British colonial artefacts and collectibles in one dining room. Ravishing brass lamps of bygone days brings charisma to the rustic wooden panels and the unique ceiling lights adds more character than just lighting up the restaurant. Private collection of Nyonya and Baba artefacts compliment the surroundings of the other room and the restaurant is definitely not contented to languish in the background waiting to be noticed. | ||||||||||||||||
